Testimonial

We have used Reactive Air on several occasions for repairs, maintenance and advice, and will continue to use them for any future Air con work.

Originally, we had used 2 different companies, the first told us we needed to have the unit replaced because it was so old that parts were no longer available and the second told us the motor needed to be re-gassed...

Luca not only fixed the problem with the motor (which for the first time in years, our ducted aircon zones now work properly) he also took photos to show us the unit explained what he had done and advised that the unit wasn't old and parts could still be ordered.

It literally saved us thousands and we really appreciated his honesty.

Could not recommend Reactive Air enough!!

FAQs

  • It is recommended to have your air conditioning unit serviced at least once a year. Regular maintenance helps ensure proper functioning, increases energy efficiency, and prolongs the lifespan of the system.

  • Some common signs include reduced airflow, unusual odours or noises, inconsistent cooling, and high humidity levels indoors. If you notice any of these signs, it's important to have a professional technician inspect and repair your AC unit.

  • There are a few ways to increase energy efficiency. Firstly, ensure regular cleaning and replacing of return air filters. Secondly, keep the thermostat set at a reasonable temperature and consider using a programmable thermostat. Thirdly, keep windows and doors closed while your air conditioner is running. Lastly, schedule regular maintenance with a professional technician to avoid breakdowns and optimize the system's performance.

  • The size of the AC unit depends on various factors, such as the size of your home, insulation, and climate. A general rule of thumb for sizing an air conditioning system is allowing 120W/m2 for bedrooms and 150W/m2 for day time / living spaces.

  • Leading manufacturers, such as Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu and Panasonic all offer a large range of premium systems to suit various applications. 5 years manufacturer’s warranty is provided with all of the above brands and they provide great after-sales customer support.
